If I open a FW6 file in FW7 will it render exactly as originally designed, or will it need tweaking?
I’m not talking about responsiveness—I know that would still need to be adjusted—but I recall previous upgrades (I think 4 to 5) meant that the site needed to be reformatted in some ways.

Try it
When you open a 6 file in 7 it will tell you that a special backup will be made that can still be opened in 6.
Make sure that when you open in 7 you immediately create a new 7 specific Site Folder to publish into so that you dont overwrite your 6 Site (you can create the 7 site folder before you even open the 6 Doc with 7). On opening I would save my new file as myfwdocv7 so as to not overwrite the 6 doc too.
That way you will still retain the original 6 doc and site if you want to go back.

My experience the last day when opening three excisting sites didn’t need
any particular tweaking. Only when I upload the sites it took some time
untill they appeared correct in the browser, a few non proportional
behaviours and mis placements, they were gone after a few refreshments.
Probably they were still in my cache memory.
