Hi Dave,
Absolutely. I should have mentioned that I was only concerned about webkit while putting that demo together although I’ve just added support for other browsers. If I cared about the animation enough I’d probably use JS rather than CSS or use something like jquery.transition.js (GitHub - louisremi/jquery.transition.js: Upgrade jQuery's .animate() method to use CSS3 Transi) to animate the items if the browser couldn’t so it in CSS.
