I’m not sure how to fill out the action palette when I am installing an iframe that I want to have a slideshow pro in.
I have exported the slideshow to a folder on my desktop. I then created an iframe by insert/action item/iframe
I have the action palette up via window/actions
I know I need to connect the loader.swf to the iframe via the action palette but I am doing something wrong. How do I fill out the url, the name and the extended sections?
any guidance would be very much appreciated.

The folder that is on your desktop needs to get onto your server - use an FTP programme like Transmit/Cyberduck to do this or if you have a cpanel on your server you can use File manager - give it a name like lightroom.

No - dont link to the loader swf. Instead link to the index.html file that is in your lightroom folder that is hopefully now on your server. So in the iframe action under URL Choose Other then External and then put in the address of the index.html file which should read something like
http://www.yoursite.com/lightroom/index.html
Make sure you also put something in the name field or you will get an error message the other fields you can play with till you get the look you want.

i must be missing something.
I created an iframe via insert/action/iframe.
I then copied the folder up to my domain.
http://robertjillson.com/web/iframe-temp1/index.html
when I check the link I get "cannot validate URL because HTTP file not found
also, where do I put a name? does it go into the Title box or into the Extend tab. And, do I need something in the Target box?

Which folder? - it should be the folder that lightroom exported that contains all the flash resources and the index.html page. Nothing to do with the iframe.
I created an iframe via insert/action/iframe.
OK - then set the parameters ie the path to your lightroom folder - so the folder on your server is at
http://robertjillson.com/iframe-temp1
Then the URL in FW should be
http://robertjillson.com/iframe-temp1/index.html
where do I put a name? does it go into the Title bo
In the iFrame action palette - it the last box in the list after Margin Height
