I’m on the new side of website design, and not that clear on how to apply an action. Can anyone recommend a tutorial about this?
Also, could someone suggest which version of Freeway I should get if I want to have an action when a mouse clicks on a photo, that page dims and a frame stretches open first horizontally and then vertically in front of that page and a larger image of that photo appears?
There is is an action icon on your menu bar. click that and a action window will open. You can add and remove action to an individual item there. Look for the “+” and “-” buttons.
The Freeway Showcase App. can do that for you, and that probably requires FWY Pro. You can see it on the site.

First I’d like to say a big “wow”! and “thank you” to everyone for responding and so quickly.
I’ve been putting in the hours trying to “make sure” about choosing the “right” web designer for me. Ya know, it’s like getting engaged, you want to make sure the software is the one for you that you want to wake up in the morning and see everyday;)
I was bouncing back from Rapidweaver to Express/Pro. But after these responses here, with DeltaDave providing quick links to illustrate the ScriptyLightBox, and thanks Shane for the location of manuals, I feel Freeway Pro is the right choice for me, and it comes with a supportive group of relatives (that would be this forum). So that fear or trepidation of jumping into something and finding out after days of work that I’m in over my head, has eased.
Hey, I’m not always so verbose. You just caught me at
a sensitive moment
So back to the real stuff.
With these actions like ScriptyLightBox, do I need to copy code, or after downloading it, it’s just clicking on it in Pro
and putting in the photos and time settings?
Also, I couldn’t find any freeway tutorials at itunes.
…and it comes with a supportive group of relatives…
But which one is the over weight uncle who needs a shave, thinks a clean tee shirt is appropriate attire for a reception, and spends 90% of his time at the TV?

Pardon me, but I didn’t realize that my tee shirt had to
be a clean tee shirt ;–)
The Action will only appear when you have an HTML box selected on the
page, or in some design methods, a graphics box. Once you do, you’ll
see it in the Item / Actions list. If you don’t have anything selected
(that is to say, the page is actually selected) you won’t see anything
in that same list.

I downloaded the ScriptyLightBox action and dropped it onto the
freeway icon and the program opened, but didn’t see it listed.
