Many do, many have not been thoroughly tested with FW 5, due to time constraints of the Action developers and the fact that FW 5 is beta and things could change. You could try them and see for yourself. Let us know what you find.

I have tried the PHPFeedback form and that works for me.

Anti Spam is an utterly invaluable action for Freeway 4. It was so
good, in fact, that its core functionality has been built into
Freeway 5.
Other actions may or may not work. I believe the majority should, but
it does depend on how they are intended to function behind the scenes.

But the built-in action in 5 doesn’t offer all the various encoding options like Tim’s standalone version, or does it?

Is there a way to protect email addresses in 5?

It happens automatically. In the HTML source code for your pages
(which is what spammer software reads directly), email addresses are
scrambled into a form that requires browser processing to reconstruct
and use. It isn’t worth the effort of actually rendering pages to see
if addresses might be siftable from the results; this is a high-speed
filtering process that just looks for plain text strings in raw page
code.
One day some devious bright spark might add filtering routines that
look for the various kinds of entity codes that represent the @
symbol and email strucutres, but until then this is the safe way to
embed direct email links.
If that ever does happen, then the only solution will be to use
form-based contact scripts. Pray that it doesn’t. And in the
meantime, yes, Freeway 5 makes things safe automatically.

Ok, but how about Gallery action? I use that in some sites and cannot migrate them to 5 before the action works in FW5.

You might be best off contacting the developer of the action in question to see if they have tested it or have had any feedback. However, asking here is good too, since others may have tried the actions and will be able to report their results.

I use the Gallery Action and it seems to work OK with the 5beta.
