ActionsForge

In the spirit of SourceForge, RubyForge, GitHub, and other fine code-
library systems everywhere, I bring you ActionsForge. ActionsForge is
designed to be a definitive listing of all Actions available for
Freeway Pro and Express. Of course, right now it contains only a
sampling of that universe.

If you have written any Actions, please post them here:

http://actionsforge.com

Benefits include:

  • Automatic version tracking for your users
  • Free hosting
  • Prominent mention in the Softpress KnowledgeBase
  • Comments system, member-driven tag system
  • RSS Feeds to show the current version of each of your Actions
  • Wish list to gather Action ideas from other members (with voting!)

There’s more to come, but there needs to be many more Actions listed
in order to get over the “tipping point” and make this a natural go-
to destination for anyone seeking an Action.

Please chip in and make it happen.

Thanks!

Just took a peek. Looks awesome. I really hope everyone gets on board with this site. It will be a great resource to everyone and hopefully free up you generous people from having to answer as many questions.

Oh yes, really neat. And great there will be a good searchable central
source with descriptive text which is clearly written and maybe some links
to worked examples too.

Thanks for the effort ];~}}

Best wishes Peter

Walt, I appreciate the effort and time you put into the action community, and FW community in general. Thanks!

On your registration form, what did you use to include the formating buttons in the bio box? Very cool.

That is the amazing Control.Textarea from LivePipe. It comes with a number of different connectors for various markup languages. http://livepipe.net
