In freeway expresss 4.4.2 current date action I’m trying to add to my master page is black text color. I have done some searchs on freewaytalk but can’t seem to find how I might be able to change the black text to a white text for the current date action.
What am I’m overlooking here?

There’s a general principle that you use to style inline Actions’
output. Make a “space sandwich” out of it!
If you’ve drawn the Current Date Action on the page as a freestanding
item, then select it (click once on it) and cut it to the Clipboard.
Draw an HTML box where you want the Action to appear, click inside of
that box so you see a blinking text cursor, and paste.
Now, if you have already placed the Action as an inline (within a run
of HTML text) continue from here.
Click into the HTML box on the line of text next to the Action, so
you see a blinking text cursor on one side of it. Type a space, then
use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the other side of the Action
and type another space. When you are done, you should see (well, it’s
actually hard to see, but humor me here) SPACE[Action-Item]SPACE. Now
highlight all of that text with the mouse, starting with the leading
space and ending at the trailing space. Apply whatever style you like
using the Inspector.
Preview or publish, and you will see your Action text styled as you
like.
