adding google translation

hi
i was wondering could anyone walk me through how i can add google translation to my web site. i want the flags to appear on the top of my pages so the people can click on them and have google translate my site ( or page ).
i have tried copying and pasting the HTML code from google into a HTML box on my master page but the code overflows and makes all the graphics etc. disappear under blue X’s.
i then tried using the HTML Markup under the page menu but i just can’t get that to work either.
as you can tell this is my first time to try adding this item to any of my sites so i would be really thankful if anyone can help me or tell me where I’m going wrong or if there is an easier way to add this to my site.
thanks a million

Hi Paul

Is this the task bar you want to add?

If so, you need to add the code as a ‘mark up’ item.

Click on an area on your page (cursor blinking) then > main menu > insert > mark up item > paste the code that Google has generated > view in a browser and not preview.

Job done :•)

(also make sure you make the holder/DIV big enough to hold the content served by Google)

Hope this helps

Kind regards
