I wrote earlier about a bug we’ve found when trying to print with text selected; on our copy of Intaglio, the text doesn’t print when selected. You said you’d look into it and see what was what.
I believe what’s happening here is that when you start editing a block of text with the text tool the text tool copies the text block, moves the copy to the top of all graphics and makes the original invisible. The text you’re editing doesn’t print because it’s invisible.
The best workaround is probably just to switch out of the text tool before printing. I’ll make a change to the next version to make that happen automatically.
That would be great. I’m interested in getting Ingaglio for our local museum to replace ClarisDraw. I’ve been using Intaglio now for quite a while, but need to make sure it runs as easily as possible since our volunteers are not all that computer savvy. So a fix on this would be welcomed.

This reminded me of a useful tip I discovered recently.
If you’re setting text and want to switch to another tool, you can’t press the ‘S’ key to activate the Selection tool because it will just type an ‘S’.
Pressing the ‘esc’ key selects the Selection tool. Now press ‘P’ for the Pen tool, ‘C’ for the Scissors tool, etc.
