align!

I am going crazy!

I have set up a new document 800 x 600

centred a background and tiled in vertically, now wall i want to do is place an image along the bottom of the page in the middle, i have imported my image but ‘align’ is greyed out! and everytime i move it then preview on browser it is never where i want it. i need to align it horizontally then just shift it down to the bottom!

help!!

In order to align something you need something to align it to.

Can you post a link to your page so that we can get a better idea of what you are trying to achieve.

I have been searching for the same answer to the same question. For instance if I set up a standard page, put a background color in it, make sure that the CSS button is selected and then try to put a banner image where a header would normally go, how do I make it stay centered?

How are you creating the background color? If you are applying it to the page through the page inspector, then the way that you would center the banner is to center the page itself. Page Inspector, Align: Center.
