Alignments

OK here’s another issue on alignment. I need to include some code. Easy - use insert markup item! Insert - then become confused as to why I can’t get things to align.

Ok, I took a look at your file. I assume you want things to align right?

There are two things you can try. First thing is to add padding to the html box your markup is in.

Second, in the markup, there is a line that shows “input size=” then a number in quotes. Change that to a bigger number, like 32, and see if that works for you.

Freeway is generating a DIV (generic HTML box) to hold the contents of
your Markup Item. This box will have the basic browser style unless
you add style tags to make it look otherwise. I added one simple
declaration to your second line of code:

<form style="text-align: right;" method="get" action="http://search.atomz.com/search/
">

And now your form is aligned right, to match the text in the box above
it.

Much cleaner solution.

Well, I spoke too soon. As usual these problems return. So, I set up a new style called ‘align left’ and style the search box. Great it works! Until the style randomly UN attaches itself again and again and again!

See what I harp on about about the easy stuff becoming difficult here?

Did you put the styling markup as Walt suggested?
