Anchors

Hi,
I’m not sure I quite get the anchor instructions. I’m trying to get
a ‘Back to Top’ link at the bottom of my Gallery page to take the
viewer back up to the top. I’ve followed the instrucions and I get a
nice anchor saying ‘Back to Top’ at the bottom of my page but it
doesn’t go anywhere when I click on it, stays on the same page but
doesn’t return to the top.

I've gone over the instructions in the latest reference guide a

couple of timesbut I must be missing something.

		Cheers, Carolyn

Select something at the top of the page (highlight a word in some
HTML text or select a graphic box)

Choose Edit > Anchor and type a meaningful name here. Something as
obvious as “top” is fine. It is best to avoid using spaces.

Scroll down to where you want your ‘back to top’ link to be, select
it, and open the Edit Hyperlink window (choose Edit > Hyperlink).

Choose your page, then choose your anchor.

Basically, you attach an anchor somewhere, then set a link to point
to that anchor on the page, not just that page.
You can link to an anchor on a different page if you like, so that
the link takes someone directly to a specific point in the
destination page. But the most common use for anchors is the ‘back to
top’ link.

Any help?

Thanks, Keith,
I followed your instructions and it worked. I thought that might be
it but I didn’t quite know how to execute it, the instructions in the
reference is not as clear.
