Not directly, as far as I know, but this works:
Create the frames In Intaglio, save as PICTs and drag into GIFBuilder Carbon. It’s freeware and it supports Applescript, so it may be possible to automate the procedure.
The Simple Animation Applescript in the Samples folder creates 13 images (frames) and moves them diagonally across the Intaglio document. The script closes without saving the document.
