[ANN] ExpressionEngine Actions Suite 2.0 Free Update

termite terrace studios is happy to announce the release of the 2.0 version of ExpressionEngine Actions Suite. If you are a current owner and you have not received the announcement email, please contact us directly for your free update.

New in this version

  1. Compatibility with the changes in ExpressionEngine 2.0 and associated documentation of the new methods, requirements, and terminology (most notably, what were once called “weblogs” are now called “channels”).
  2. Minor bug fixes and cleanup of generated code.

If you are still using ExpressionEngine 1.x, we recommend you install this new version of the Action Suite, as there are code fixes and changes that affect your versions of the Actions that are part of the suite as well.

Thanks Joe for the free update. Apparently there were not as many changes in EE 2.0 than I originally thought.

Now it’s just a matter of waiting till all the plugins, extensions, and modules are EE 2.0 compatible.

I’d be interested to hear about the code changes in 1.x that these actions fix.

This is a huge first step.

Nothing major Dan, just a few little things I found along the way. One off the top of my head was proper quoting in a parameter or something like that. I’d have to check my notes to be sure, but I either left out quotes, or used single instead of double somewhere. Things like that.

So I am to understand that this update contains actions for both 1.x and 2.x? I see in my actions window here that there are two EE Resources, so perhaps both are included.

Yes, if you read the “What’s in the box” document that’s part of the bundle I tried to explain that. Maybe I didn’t do a great job.

That’s why I shouldn’t skip the instructions. This is really great Joe, it couldn’t have occurred at a better time.

Thanks for all the hard work.
