Nothing at all. I do that as well.

It’s just a nice thing to give visitors to my site a flavour of what I ramble on about on Twitter without forcing them to visit the Twitter site or have an account if they don’t want one.

It was nice to have Twitter streams on may sites, but given the poor quality of the widget, as well as what appears to be another outfit logging site visitors’ behaviour (clearly for advertising purposes), I think I won’t be bothering with putting Twitter feeds on my sites any more.
