Another new site critique please!

Good Morning to all,

I think I have finished my site (finally) with amazing help from Delta Dave.
http://www.grassrootsweb.net

I would love to hear all of your opinions.

One of my focuses is towards medical practices. I have made a medical “sample” and would also like your opinions on that one.
http://www.villageobgyn.net

Last question - and if you feel it needs to be posted separately - let me know

  • I have been talking to MD’s offices and the responce I have been receiving is financially not at this time.
I have thought of selling “links” / ads to the pharmacy reps, retail stores that they refer to etc… all placed quietly through out the website or on just one LINKS page… what do you all think? I am trying to make it financially positive for them. any ideas?

THank you for all of your thoughts, help etc. THIS GROUP IS AMAZING!

Hi Julie,
The site looks really nice.
One thing I would note is that most of your text is graphic text rather than html text. This will make your site unfriendly to search engines.

The only other comment I have (and it’s kind of nit-picky…and I don’t always take the time to do it…)
Is you might want to give your images and graphics appropriate names. For example on the villageobgyn.net site you could name the picture on the welcome page something like, “father-child” rather than, “of50590442” , it just looks a little better during that .5 seconds while the pages loads to see graphic items titled, rather than, a bunch of , “item5” , “item6”, and so on.

thanks again

Check the order of your layers in the Site Panel. The text is loading
and briefly seen, but you only see the green panel once the page is
complete!

Site looks good, otherwise.

Yes but the 2 left hand puzzle pieces are behind the text on page load. Select them and bring them to the front. Item>Bring to Front
