anti spam action?

I have created a contact form with a PHP easiCaptcha on the page. Do I also need the antispam action to keep from getting spam?

Hi Melanie,

No you don’t, the ‘Basic’ easiForm action setting will take care of
basic stuff, the easiCaptcha will help even more and if you want you
can select ‘Advanced’ in ‘PHP easiForm’ to make the form even more
secure like stopping people sending emails with certian words like
pharma,pills,drugs,[url,http: and anything else you want to prevent
people sending in the emails.

BTW, this doesn’t stop you from getting Spam, it just offers
protection for your web form being used to send spam. Spam can be sent
from anywhere so if you are receiving it then join the club!

thanks Mike…I’ve used the advanced setting also. Is there a way to style the easiCaptch text? Do I use the form element styler?

No, do it like this:

1# Create a style of the font size you want the text to be.
2# Select the cell or the HTML item the action is applied to then:
3# Select the style.

So now you have applied the style to the cell or HTML item and any text output will be styled as per the selected style.

Mike when I select the cell where the captch is and then appl the style from the style pallet, a window displays …this style can only be applied to text.

I don’t understand why or what you might be doing to get this error, If you set up a text style, select the cell and then select the style you should not have a problem.

To set a style to a cell or HTML item is as simple as I outlined in my last post.
