Apple iBook

Hello
I was an ‘early adopter’ as they say, of the new intel iBook. No problem with the operation of the Mac itself, but as I say it’s an early release that suffers the discoloured area around the touchpad - it’s the white iBook. Does anyone know if there is a way of getting a new fascia for this? It’s really looking grubby now… Seems to be no point of contact on the apple site.
Thanks

Do you have an Apple Store near you? Maybe if you show it to a Genius, they can advise you what to do. Or call the Apple Support number, tell them your serial number, and see what they suggest.

There was definitely a warrantee extension for this particular problem, and (IIRC) lots of people report having the entire case replaced as a part of the free service.
