arrows in macro template

just purchased the softpress template “macro” and wondering how the navigation via arrows at the bottom of some pages is done…

Can you post a link to a public page showing this template “live”? It’s easy to look at the HTML and reason it out. The screenshots on the Softpress page don’t tell us anything about how it works.

Every template has a “live” preview. That might be the easiest way to look into it. Not every page has it but the one with the photos…

Thanks!

Okay, in this template, they are just using the “angle bracket” characters (greater than and less than) for the arrows. If you type those characters (shift-period, shift-comma on a US-English keyboard) you will get them.

But how do those “arrows” manage to scroll through the photos? I don’t see any connection. Is it because the two pages are in a folder?

Yes. Dont have the template but there may be an action involved ie Link to Page

They are just normal links to the next page. I don’t see any evidence of JavaScript or other special trickery. It’s just a link, made in the usual manner.

Correct, they’re just links. Nothing clever going on there.
