Automatic drop down menu (link)

Is there an action to do that (you hover over a link then the menu scrolls down). Or would somebody explain me how to create them in FW 5 Pro?

Use the CSS Menu Action. Just draw an HTML container, click inside to
make a list of your headings and indent once for the top bar headings
and twice for the sub-menu dropdowns (using the List pane at the
bottom of the Inspector.) Apply the CSS Menu Action and experiment
with the settings to get what you want. N.B. Leave the list as default

  • do not set bullets, etc.

This is a simple example: http://www.shopaint.co.uk/

There are other ways, but this is a good way to start. One warning,
you may require a little trial and error time required to get the
spacing right, and placing a graphic “bar” behind the main headings
can help disguise a problem, if you are out by a pixel or two on
overall length.

Use the CSS Menu Action.

Sorry Thomas

I should have mentioned, also, that to make the links, highlight each
heading or subheading and press command+K (or use the link menu at the
bottom off the Freeway window) to see a list of the pages in your web
site.Click on the one you want linked to the menu.
