Hi all, im having an issue with a background sound mp3. Its a free download of the net (.mp3) I apply the action and upload. Works fine on macs, but on pc it say you need quicktime to be installed. Ive downloaded it from a pc and it downloads as a windows media file, but when i use that on the mac it converts to quicktime mp3.
Ditto, ditto, ditto… a thousand times ditto! I liken noisy web pages
to whiny children in the back seat. Give me a click to play any day. I
may even click it!

does anyone have any thoughts?
Heh. You’ve had the majority opinion, which is largely mine too -
although I will add that there’s generally no such thing as an
absolute rule on this sort of thing.
Anyway, with all those warnings said, have you tried looking in
Freeway’s Page actions?
Go to the menubar and choose Page > Page Actions > Background Sound.
Open the Actions palette. With nothing selected, you should see
the Background Sound controls. Pick your suitably-compressed MP3
audio file (you have reduced the size, haven’t you?) and see how it
goes!
hi guys, I would agree on the sound front, but this isn’t 4 a general website, it’s a standalone page which is part of a viral campaign. yep the mp3 is compressed and I’m using the background sound action.
