basic Q about page structure

Good day everyone,

After some experimenting with FRW’s normal css-design as well as with the so-called boxmodel, which are all fine (more or less) I discovered (… in astonishment) that the softpress site itself uses tables or a main table.

In the BODY there is the PageDiv which defines the page dimensions, and inside this one there is the main TABLE (with a width=1001 ?!).
Then inside some cells there are DIVs, if I recall correctly.

Now this is not exactly what I expected in the css-world we are living
BUT it allows for a decent footer,
which is what we are really looking for.

So my QUESTION:
Should I also follow this type of design,
in order to get a a working footer.

BW, Omar K N

I vote to stick to what works best for your specific situation.

However, I am loving me some box-model.

Perhaps Softpress would take in some user-made designs for it’s home-page?
