Best way to blog to raise your domain in searches

All I am trying to do is have a blog on my site where I can enter
text and photos. The blog would then be crawled by search engine
spiders to improve my search rankings within the topics that I blog
about.

I’m sure this is a bit like teaching granny to suck eggs, but don’t
forget the value of inbound links to your core site from your blog.

It isn’t necessarily all bad that the normal Freeway blog design
process creates something that lives in the Blogger domain. Although
yes, it would be better if it could all be together.

Hmmm. Does anyone see any value in constructing a new Freeway Page everytime you have a new blog and running it kind of from a ‘totally manual’ standpoint?

Creating a new page for each new post in your blog would be major
work and fairly clunky, relatively speaking, but it would mean that
all your content is entirely within the one domain. That would help
SEO to an extent, but it would be a challenge to recreate all the
features a standard blog account provides.

Given that you’ll get the benefit of inbound links if you point at
your site regularly from ‘real’ external blog posts I’m really not
sure doing it manually is worth the effort plus reduction in features.

Thanks Keith!

That was exactly what I was looking for.
