If you edit the links on your master page, you can update them to point to the page(s) you have made. Then those master elements will be on every page in the site. I believe that the templates all have some placeholder links on them to get you started. If you are asking about how to create or edit a link to a page, then that’s just a matter of highlighting the link text (or clicking on a graphic item) and using the Edit / Hyperlink (command-k) dialog to assign a page or external URL to the selection.
