Blogger style listings sans Blogger

I need to set up a ‘diary’ style page preferably outside a blog account.

I need to be able to add the latest item to a column on page 1. When the column contains too much information for its defined length I would like it to overflow to page 2 etc

Is this possible within FWY5? I have not been able to link html boxes across pages. Is there a solution or is Blogger the only solution?

It isn’t possible to link HTML boxes across multiple pages. And of
course HTML itself doesn’t have a scooby about linked boxes; what you
get in Freeway’s output is an HTML ‘rendering’ of the way the text
currently breaks up across your linked boxes, but in non-linked
containers.

Anyway - I think that in order to do what you want you’ll need to
recreate the effect using PHP scripting and a server-side database.
The scripting to handle slicing up the content at a roughly
appropriate point, and the database to store articles. Oh, and other
PHP to help you add new content to the database.

Basically, build your own skeleton blog system.

Alternatively, use a regular blog but keep it unpublicised, and use
PHP to extract articles via RSS and insert them into your web page. I
have an example of this somewhere, but it feeds from an external blog
that seems to be defunct. Hey-ho!

ok - so I set up a Blogger bog and reference it on my site in an iframe. What happens when the page gets too long for the iframe?

Sorry as mentioned in a prior post I am have trouble getting Blogger to accept my FWY5 code. Anybody volunteering to help clean up my site/ styles etc?
