After the recent thread about Twitter and SP, I found this networking
site for “professionals” called BrightFuse. Has anyone heard of it or
use it or know someone who does? It appears to be an off-shoot service
of CareerBuilder in the States.
I admit I have no interest in these types of services but I’m
continually reading about how employers as a matter of course are
relying heavily on networking profiles as a preliminary tool for
evaluating your potential value and qualifications and I’m trying to
determine if it’s something to consider despite my feeling that it’s
little more than a popularity contest. But if it helps in finding new
gigs it might be worth a rethink (for me).
