Calling anyone who signed up for Browsercam thanks to Walter’s mail
about it:
Have you been able to connect using a separate VNC client? I’m using
“Chicken of the VNC” and although I follow the Browsercam instructions
to the letter, it always comes up with “Connection not allowed” (I’m
paraphrasing, as I can’t quite remember what the message is).
I can connect OK using Browsercam’s built-in Jave VNC client, but it’s
like treacle …
I’ve never been able to make that work, and I have chalked it up to
my NAT router not having the right port triggers enabled. I’ve never
taken the time to debug it. Yes, the Java VNC is slow, but it works
well enough for what I need.

Thanks Walter. Well, I guess it works well enough for what I want too,
but I sort of had that feeling that I was missing something …
