Bug with HTML Box Graphic Effect?

Hello - I have a question about the following:

Draw an HTML box (any size) and then choose a dark background color for it and then add an outer shadow to the box. Looks great.

Now change the opacity of the background color from 100% to any low number (say 30%) and look at the result. It will still look somewhat darker than normal. Now remove or lower the outer shadow opacity to 0% and look at the result - the color will be much lighter and more true to what it should be as a result of lowering the opacity of the background color.

If you really desire the final effect of a lighter background color then choosing any color with 100% opacity will give you the result you desire however by playing with the background color opacity you receive a darker and false result.

Is this a bug in Freeway or just the way it will work in the final?

When you add a shadow to something, the shadow spans underneath the
object. When you reduce the opacity of the object (not the shadow)
you are seeing through the object to its shadow. It would be nice if
the shadow could be clipped out behind the object that is casting it,
but that doesn’t seem to be the way it works right now. A feature
request to be sure!
