can I use existing links

I have been trying to cut and paste links from another website I designed in golive into freewway pro.
So far I am having no luck and have not been able to find a clear answer if this can be done.

Is there any way I can just cut and paste the text with active links with out having to go back and do each link new in
freeway ?

Thanks!!

If you copy the HTML source of the link:

<a href="foo">bar</a>

you can paste that into Freeway Pro using the Edit / Paste Markup
command, and the entire link (text and href) will appear in your
layout. You need to have a flashing text cursor inside an HTML box at
the point in your text where you want the link to appear before you do
this.

Thanks ,

When I got to Edit / Paste Markup command the program crashed . I tried a few times
I can now see all the code but how do I convert that back into WYCIWYG .

Am I doing something wrong and missing something ?
Thanks!!

How much HTML are you pasting? I would start by only pasting the bare
URL and its link text, not a whole page worth of HTML layout and text.
If this feature works, you should see a WYSIWYG link, blue and
underlined.

See what happens if you paste just the example I posted.
