Maybe someone did experience this problem too. I can’t save anything in intaglio format on my macbook running SL. I always get this message :
Can’t complete this command, -8905.
even with very simple documents. I still can save using other formats, like pdf, but it’s not very convenient. I tried reinstalling, removing all preferences and even the complete library folder, repairing permissions, restarting the computer. With no success.

I do get this message once in a long while, the last time was a
couple of weeks ago with subscripts, but don’t think I ever had it
with Save but am not sure. Eventually, all goes back to normal.
I have always had the impression that this is the message Intaglio
sends when it is hopelessly confused by something I did, like hitting
two keys at once, but that it doesn’t send the message right away.
So, for instance, not saving might be a response to something you did
earlier and nothing to do with Save.
I have never been able to create something reproducible.
But I have no idea what to suggest other than the kind of things you
have already tried. Perhaps create a document on another machine and
open it on your MacBook?
