Carousel Action

Hi

Having probs with this action in FW5.

Works fine in FW4. Same page that’s okay in FW4 won’t work in FW5 even though the action is housed in the corresponding location for FW5.

What could be wrong? have I missed a version for FW5?

Thanks

The same version works for both 4 and 5. Make sure that you are trying to apply it to a layer (the css layout button is on when you draw the elements or the Layer checkbox in the Inspector is checked).

Thanks Walter, however I wish I could solve the problem by simply doing that.
I’ve repeated the steps in your tutorial numerous times now, with slight variations, just in case I’ve misinterpreted your instructions.
What bugs me is that a page from FW4 that works brilliantly, fails when I open it in FW5…

Try re-installing Carousel in this fashion:

  1. Download the latest version of Protaculous from ActionsForge:
    http://actionsforge.com/actions/view/18-protaculous
  2. Unzip the download file.
  3. Drag the un-zipped Action file onto the Freeway icon in the Dock
    (while Freeway is running).

You should get an alert about installing replacement Actions. Okay
that, and try again.

Thanks Walt.
That’s done the trick. Your advice is much appreciated and most welcome.
