I find it helpful to draw my initial carousel pane on the page and get it the size I want then add in the content, whether text or graphics.
Once I have one I will copy and paste it to the pasteboard. That makes 2.
Then I will duplicate the 2nd one with enough offset vertically down to clear the previous until I have all the panes I want. (Doing it on the pasteboard leaves your working page clear of clutter.)
Then you can go into each one and alter the content as you want and you will have the basic structure for them all.
