caxton font sets

good afternoon.

I am setting up my caxton font sets.

I opened up FW Pro, did not open up a file and I went: edit - font sets and added all the new font sets figuring that if I add all the font sets that I downloaded at one time i do not have to do it per project.

shut down - opened the project at hand. and started the next stage of the tutorial -
and none of the font sets that i just developed were there.

So, is there a way to set up font sets and make them “permanent” so that I can have the choices in different projects without redoing a font set each project?

Thank you again for all of your help and info

Julie

If you have a Freeway Document open, there should be a Make Default button in the Edit>Font Sets dialogue window. Use that to make the font sets “stick”.

You can also edit the font sets without a document open, and that should be permanent too.

Hi Paul,

I did them all wo a document open. And when I did open a document - none of them were in the drop down under fonts in the html inspector box - they were all the standards.

I figured if i did them then - i wouldn’t have to do it again… I will try the default button each one I do and see what happens… and let you know

Thank you

Julie

That did not work - thank you for the thought.

I am suprised that if you set up font sets in FW (wo a document open) that it doesn’t save and does not show in the drop down.

any other thoughts on how this can be done - so each project you are not recreating font set each time/?

Thank you
