Hello, I’m new here (french…) but using FreeWay from the very beginning.
Now I’m using FWay Pro 4.4.2 (build 5472) with a Mac Mini Intel Core duo, 1.66 Mhz, 1.25 Mo SDRAM under LEOPARD 10.5.1.
I design 2 HTML text blocks on a page, and use the chaining tool. OK. I put text in the first block and it flows into the second. OK. I publish my page. OK. I send it to SAFARI (ot FireFox) to see… AAARGH! The text of the first bloc spreads over the second one!
I UN-CHAIN the two blocks. Publish. View… same bad result.
I now make two blocks in a new page . NO CHAIN. I manually enter the text into block 1. Then into block 2. Publish. View… OK!
NO… just trying to start a new site - and not uploaded the page - because it is so bad…!
I’ve made other experiments: now when I put ONLY ONE text block in a page (and about half of it), when sending it to Safari, the text EXPANDS on the whole width… strange.
Thanks…
I’ve closed FWay - and turn off my computer.
Restarted and relauched FWay.
I’ve made a new test with 2 HTML Blocks - not set as layers, not ‘can grow’ (previously same state!) — published…
AND NOW it works fine!?
Don’t know at all what has happened… Must make other tests. Conflicts with other apps? maybe…
many thanks!
I’ll will tell you later if the bug reappears… and upload the file this time.
