I would like to use TextWrangler to change colors in a large number of files, say from 99FFFF to FFCCCC.
It would seem that TextWrangler cannot get the code directly from the foo.intaglio file.
Hopeful regards

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Got more pressing problems (LaTeX) with the book.
So, in essence, you are suggesting,an Apple script that:
- Converts the Intaglio file to an SVG file
- Searches the SVG file for 99FFFF and replaces it by FFCCCC
- Converts the resulting SVG file to an Intaglio file
- Saves the Intaglio file as a pdf file.
for several hundred Intaglio files in many different folders.
I am sure it can be done … but not by this Apple script - challenged person.
The alternative would then seem to be creating a color style and manually replacing the original color by a color style and then edit the color style.
I think I can do that because the color would remain the same until I have dealt with all graphics at which point I would edit the style.
So, now my question is: where can I learn about color styles? (The Help is a bit skimpy.)

Is it also possible to change some possible changeable attributes?
