Changing the size of an entire site

Hello all,

Just finished a site for a client, made from their strict instructions to be 900x550 in size. Now that the whole thing is ready to be published, the client wants to enlarge it to 1200 x whatever.
Is there a easy way to do that without having to redesign the whole site again? (over 24 pages)

Thank you

Dan Demetriad

Sorry. Here’s the thing. You can probably change the size of an entire
document by changing the size of the Master Page(s) upon which the
pages are built. But if you have done anything on the “child” pages to
alter the height or width, then the connection with the Master Page at
that level will be broken. So try this: change the dimensions of the
Master Page(s) and then walk through your document in Freeway one page
at a time, and see if the change “took” to the individual pages. In
many cases, it will, and in those where it did not, you can make that
change manually using the Inspector.

After you’ve taken this step, go back and repeat the change with any
layout elements you may have placed on the Master Page(s). Move them
to their new positions on your larger page, then step through the
individual pages to see if the move worked, correcting if not.

You don’t have so many pages where this sort of hybrid automated/
manual process won’t be effective. On a larger site, you may want to
do something more drastic, like create an entirely empty Master page,
apply that to all of your pages to “clean up” any master elements,
then re-apply your modified Master to apply the new size and
positioning from the Master Page.
