Hi Jeff
.info is memorable to me
www.clook.info is a name I remember easily.
I think they are the only example of a .info that I have noticed.
If you have to verbalise your address or say it on phone or people try to
recall it then simple and expected is good.
But in saying and address with more than one word one either has to add ‘all
one word and no spaces’ or ‘something hyphen something’.
But most important is that you feel comfortable with it as well as practical
with it.
I suppose this is also an opportunity to consider ‘trading as’ and come up
with a name that is good for you and unique, memorable and suits what you
feel about what you do.

all the best

I’m trying to pick a domain name and could use some opinions.
This will be a personal site. I write music. Info about me, mp3 sample files
and links to publishers. Nothing directly for sale on the site.
My first choice name with a “.com” is not available. If I go with a “.com”
it’ll be a longer version of my first choice.
If I use a hyphen, then I can use a “.net”
Or lastly I can use my preferred name if I go with a “.info” or “.us”
I’m trying to pick a domain name and could use some opinions.
I’m also a performer. I was able to buy .com and .info for my preferred name, but now point all the hits to .info on my sites. Keep it simple without underscores or further top domain qualifiers. This will also help in searches related to your name. Good luck.
