Since Safari has changed the look and feel of page source - I am a bit out of sort.
I like to look into sites source to see if they are:
wordpress
joomla
Drupal
freeway
THere are a few sites I can not find what they are - does that mean they are hand coded or where do I look -
which category under page source etc?

There might be a “generator” meta tag (Freeway does this) but the author may have also intentionally removed it or any other reference. Or yes, it could be hand-coded or some other reason. Not every tool/application/designer puts their “made with” stamp in the source code.

Also, embrace Safari’s new Developer tools – especially the Inspect
Element… Right or control-click a page element and you not only zoom to
that element in a code window, but can see and edit which styles apply to
it. Of course, the edits are not “real” or permanent, and disappear the
moment you refresh a page. But it is my favorite snooping/troubleshooting
tool so far.
