has anyone used comic life and fw5 pro to produce a 5 page site.
pretty basic i think but are there any downsides to this ??

I can’t see anything wrong with using Comic Life to produce images for a web site. Just export the comic as a series of TIFFs or PNGs and let Freeway build the page.
be sure to keep the image size down to a reasonable size for a web page though. You may want to look at a few web comics to see what an acceptable size is, and work to that in ComicLife.
