I have just had a look at my google analytics report online and last week it was over 8,000 yesterday it was 7,942 (i took a screen capture) and today it is 7,700
It’s actually going down!! Has anyone else experienced this?

Just a guess, but perhaps they only give the last X days of data, so the oldest data is falling off?

Like investments, elevators and umbrellas, web site visitor stats
will go up and down. Analyse what differences there might be - same
day of the week? Anything non-Internet that could have had an effect?
Where were the visitors coming from before, and are they still coming
from the same sources now?
Also… don’t panic. The difference is less than 5%. Keep checking
the stats occasionally, but don’t get sucked into watching every
slight rise and fall! It isn’t worth the stress you’ll give yourself.

What I meant was not the daily average but the total was getting lower. But, I’ve found out why - totally my fault I was looking at only a portion of the data. Doh!
