Confusing target/sho

Hello,

I’ve just got my first site up using Freeway 5 Pro and am really happy with it save for an issue with the playing out of my rollovers and their corresponding targets. Here’s the site:

jimpmorrison.com

I want to arrange the targets within a specific colour group (“indigo” say), to function so that upon a newly opened page, the first image is “initially visible”, then when you click a rollover to bring up the second image, image one is hidden and image two appears like it should. My problem is that with toggle set to sticky, as is appropriate for the actions to play out like i want, image one will become visible again once you click on a rollover to bring up any other images in the “indigo” group (say image three and image four for example).
Have a look at the site to see how it works at the moment -with image one set to initially hidden so as it doesn’t appear again till clicked on.

Thanks fro any help
james

What, no comments for this guy’s first post?

Yeah, I know the whole rollover logic thing can be a little difficult
to sort out in the abstract. But if anyone has thoughts then I’d
appreciate it! He’s one of my students…

Hi guys,

To do this you need to make a copy of image one, remove the Action
from it and send it to the back of the stack. Now set all images in
the stack with Action applied to be initially hidden and sticky. Now
when you load the page the duplicate of image one will be visible, you
can then click/hover over the rollovers and they will all appear as
normal but over the top of image one.

To make the duplicate of image one disappear completely (if you have a
fade applied to the items then you don’t want to see the duplicate in
the transition period) then you can apply the updated Hide Slaves
Action: Hide Slaves (alternate) - ActionsForge
to it. Once applied set it to hide on a trigger of the group you are
using (Indigo in this case) and it will disappear when your first
rollover is triggered.

I hope this helps,

Joe
