Ever need your textareas to “grow” while you enter text into them? I
spotted this on a blog recently (view source for the credits) and as
soon as I get a chance, I will add it to the Protaculous Action. It’s
more or less a one-liner.
this is great, I like this effect in the new Safari, and the option
to get this working in IE and Firefox is cool.
By the way, what is the difference between protaculous and
scriptaculous? For me they seem the same.
These sciptaculous extensions also are really great: http://www.codemonkey.co.il/content/view/14/32/

As far as I know, in Safari you can make the box larger manually, but
it doesn’t happen automagically. With this effect applied, it happens
automatically in all the browsers.
Protaculous is a made-up word that means “using Prototype.js and Script.aculo.us together”.
