Crash, Now Freeway File Won't Open

Howdy.

Program crashed and while Freeway opens other files, the job I’ve been working on for days crashes program on opening.

Since moving to 4.4.1 - had lots of crashes. Any remedies?

Do you have the .fwbackup version of the file in the same folder? If so, try opening that and see if it works. It may not have the latest changes from right before the crash, but it should be close.

Another alternative is to restore an older version from a backup. You do back up, don’t you?

As far as the crashes, check out the Softpress knowledgebase. You’ll want to use the methods described to check out fonts and resources such as images.

If you don’t get the backup running then could you send the file to email@hidden
so we can take a look at it for you. If it is larger than 10mb then
please use a free service such as the one provided by
www.megaupload.com.

Thanks guys for your help. I’ve rehashed the site from that little back-up thingie. I’ll follow up on the knowledgebase suggestion and maybe resolve my problem.
