CSS menu over/under another image

I am playing with CSS menus and have worked them out. (How easy they are once you get the hang of them!). My problem is that the horizontal css menu sits above a banner image and I don’t seem to be able to get it to work properly (as it does on the Softpress homepage).

Either: the submenu pops under the image (when the submenu is behind the image on the ‘stack’), or the submenu blocks out the image with the ‘button’ colour used on the submenu.

I don’t know if this is making much sense but if you’ve played with this yourself you will probably understand. Bottom line: I want the menu to work as it does on the Softpress site, with the submenu dropping over the image below it on the page.

Hi David,

This is a bug and has been fixed internally. In the meantime, make the
menu a layer and bring it to the front of the stack (Item>Bring to
Front) to get it to work as expected.

Cheers,

Joe
