css menu pt 2

Good Eve,

I have a css menu with an image behind each menu item.

It has a drop down menu for one of the tabs.

can i have the sub menu drop downs - drop next horizontally instead of vertically (with the graphic)

Home, about, Jewelry, (sub menu drops: engagement rings , estate jewelry)

Also is there a way to make one of the sub menus 2 lines? (engagement rings) so it fits on the graphic better?

the site is:

http://grassrootsweb.net/ray/raycrinzi.html

Thank you!

Julie

Not that I have heard of.

Generally, I would try to tackle this with the BigAreaMenu Action (BAM) which should be available at Actionsforge. I gave it once a try and it worked pretty fine to extend the “view and style” of a menu.

One thing personal:

Those “static” bg images in a css-menu don’t really look straight forwarded (up to my liking) especially if it comes to those “pill-shape”. You always struggle with Font-Size, overflow and a maladjustment between shape and Text. But as I said: personal cause I’m probably the “pill-shape-hater”.

Cheers

Thomas

The client likes that with being a jewelry story…
