CSS Menu Question

Howdy!

Experimenting with the new drop-down Menus in Freeway 5.

I notice all the menu words have link-lines under them. Any way to get rid of them like on the Softpress site?

Thanks,
Alan

There’s an option to turn them off in the Actions palette.

Thanks Paul, I guess I’m having a senior moment here; I can’t find anything smacking of “Turn off the Lines”.

We’re talking about the CSS Menus action palette? Is there any reference to this online somewhere?

Say, while we’re talking about palettes. . . on the text palette, what does the “Blink” button do?

Thanks,
Alan

You might need to drag the Actions palette a bit wider … like this:

Thank you Paul for your patience. I am utterly amazed at my complete inability to grasp something that seems so simple.

I have checked and unchecked these boxes for the last several days to no avail. I must be missing some basic thing here.

Here’s my in-the-works website. . .

Thanks again.

Hi Vegasite,

You must’ve found the option in the Main Menu settings since it
doesn’t have an underline. Choose Submenu Settings from the top
dropdown menu, open the Links section and uncheck the Underline options.

I hope this helps.

Hi Joe!

Thanks for your help; I’m getting really embarrassed.

So - I’m selecting the CSS menu box on the Master Page and applying these settings. . . of which some screen shots of my settings and the result are here:

Thanks so much,
Alan

Ok, I think this may have something to do with the ordering of the
styles and links on the text in the menu. The tag containing the text
is producing the underline and this is overriding the menu. Could you
try removing the links from the menu item and then applying them again
please. In some cases if the styling is done after the link
application then this can happen.

You should also remove the color from the text and use the Action to
handle it.

I hope this helps and sorry if this has been making your head spin!
