Created a CSS menu with 5 columns and submenus and set the column width at 9.5em. In page view and preview view the column width and cell height is consistent. But when I add links the column width shrinks and the cell height varies even though the items in the list have the same font size. I have no special font size set for the page or the html box. Advice readily welcomed. I’m using p3 beta.
I think I’ve found a solution. I first put in all the page links, which screws up the formatting. Then I went back to the html box and double clicked to see the list. I then removed all the text styles in the inspector window. Then I went back and selected all of the text in the list and reapplied the character settings I wanted, such a centering and font size, in the inspector window.
It must have something to do with the sequencing laid down in the coding process.
I hope in the final version there will be a simpler way to get the desired formatting.
