I have a very simple CSS menu - one word per item. The links function but I’m stuck with one color per item. It ignores the hover color. I assume that Freeway considers this a menu title rather than a list item, hence the ignoring of the hover color.
Is this a correct assumption?
I’d rather not have to fiddle with text rollovers.
That’s what I did. Virgin settings in the inspector. I’ll try redoing it from scratch.
On another subject - a few weeks back I created a site from a blank template with all new art and images. Then I discovered an odd html text element floating invisibly. It could be seen in the preview but not located manually. It turned out that it was somehow randomly attached to a new HTML object that I had created by simply drawing a new HTML box on the stage. The text object was from a project that I had worked on three months earlier. This was a virgin site in all respects nothing was reused from anywhere else, no accidental linkings, all new contents from all new folders, etc. Not a lick of code out of place at any level.
In my many years of experience there is always a common sense reason for weirdness. I’ve spent 15 years in corporate IT and 12 years as a tech columnist and software reviewer for a Mac magazine, mastering a huge range of software, ranging from email apps to Maya Ultimate, and I’ve seen everything under the sun. This one escapes me.
