CSS menus

Thanks to Paul’s tutorial, I made a CSS menu for one of my sites.
But, on the sub-menus (and “sub-sub-menus”), on some browsers, the
first line is higher than the others, and on other browsers, I have a
thin empty stripe.
You can se what I mean on :

How can I get rid of that ?

Thanks in advance

Jacques

Looks like the slim empty strips are selectable items, just no text in there. Is the list set to default?

No, it’s set to “No bullets”.
I have four levels of indent.
No empty carriage returns in the list.

I’m missing something …

That was it.
The list has to be set to default

Thanks
