css menus

Just put up a simple css menu and it doesnt render properly in IE6 or IE7 on the PC.

Is this something that will be sorted in the final version? or just a PC problem.

Also, in my Safari (Leopard) it works fine, but on another Mac here in the office using Safari it doesn’t…

Hi BigG,

The menu appears to be set to -47px from the top, in effect making it
invisible. Could you change the top setting to something like 47px and
re-upload so I can take a look please.

Cheers,

Joe

Sorry Joe

My client wanted to see a visual of the page so I’ve had to drag it to the pasteboard. So, not sure why its been published - do items on the pasteboard get published then?

I have added it to a another temp page:

Thanks Nathan,

This has highlighted a bug in the Action/problem with IE (depending upon how you look at it =)) that needs to be addressed.

They do if the items are layers. That’s because they can be
positioned off-page using negative coordinates (or massive positive
ones) and moved into view by script. If you don’t want them to
publish at all, either uncheck the Layer checkbox… or uncheck the
Publish checkbox. That one will affect items still on the page, too.

Nathan,

How did you make the sticky expanding tables on the site listed below with Freeway? Did you use CSS menus?

Thanks for your help.
